Quilting Basics: Strip Cutting

Have you ever started to square off your blocks and find that they’re all different sizes – or worse yet, that they’re too small? There are a lot of different components that could make this happen but a common cause of these issues comes down to precise cutting. If you’re not careful with your fabric and how you cut it, you could end up with a wavy strip rather than a straight one.

• Rotary Cutter
• Your long ruler
