Quilts That Give Back
At Quilting Legacies, we believe that every stitch tells a story, and some of the best stories are the ones that bring comfort to others. Quilts have a special way of wrapping people in warmth, kindness, and care, and we’re proud to keep that spirit alive through our community donation projects.
Every year, our amazing group of quilters comes together to sew for a cause, creating beautiful quilts that go to local and national organizations doing incredible work. Here’s a look at the three groups close to our hearts.

🛏 Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Sleep in Heavenly Peace builds and delivers beds for children who don’t have one of their own. Every child deserves a cozy, safe place to sleep, and we love knowing that our quilts help make that first night in their new bed feel extra special. There’s nothing better than imagining a child snuggled up under something handmade with love.
🧸 Project Linus
Project Linus provides handmade blankets to children in need, from hospitals and shelters to families going through tough times. We’re so proud to be part of this mission. Each quilt carries a little piece of the maker’s heart. It’s a beautiful reminder of why we sew in the first place.
🚓 Fond du Lac Police Department
We also partner with the Fond du Lac Police Department to provide quilts that officers keep in their squad cars. These quilts are often given to children or families during emergencies, small gestures that can mean a lot in difficult moments. It’s one of the most personal and powerful ways we see quilting make a difference right here in our own community.
