Bagmakers’ Club: Santa Sacks in Various sizes!
Our final class of Bagmakers’ Club in 2026! Join us for five hours of creative fun as we make reusable fabric Santa sacks in a variety of sizes. Using Jeni Baker’s Lined Drawstring Bag pattern, you’ll learn how to sew these versatile, fully lined bags—perfect for wrapping Christmas gifts, filling stockings, and creating beautiful reusable gift packaging year after year.
New to bag making? You’re welcome here! This beginner-friendly class is a great opportunity to learn new techniques, build confidence at your sewing machine, and discover just how addictive these little bags can be. We’ll work at our own pace and aim to make as many bags as time allows.
Your class fee includes the pattern and enough fabric to make the smallest size of the bag which is perfect for a gift card, a chap stick, and some candies! Want to make more? Bring additional fabric from your stash or shop our fabric selection in-store to create more bags in your favorite prints and sizes.
Bagmakers’ Club is open to everyone—membership is not required! Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or just getting started, come spend a fun, creative day sewing up a stash of handmade holiday magic.
