Whether you’re brand new to sewing, finally ready to learn the machine that’s been sitting in your sewing room, or want to dip your toes into machine embroidery, Beginner Night is your place to learn at your own pace.
Join us any Tuesday or Thursday from 4:00–7:00 PM for hands-on instruction and help from our experienced team.

Choose the learning experience that’s right for you:

🧵 Beginner Quilting

$20 per 3-hour session

Our Beginner Quilting sessions are designed to take you from fabric to finished quilt, with each session focusing on a different stage of the process.
You can attend one session, two sessions, or all three. You choose which Tuesday or Thursday works for you—there is no requirement to attend consecutive sessions.

The 3-session Beginner Quilting progression:

Day 1: Fabric Selection, Cutting & Piecing
Learn how to select your fabrics, prepare and cut your pieces, and begin piecing your quilt.

Day 2: Basting & Quilting
Learn how to prepare your quilt sandwich, baste your layers, and get started with quilting.

Day 3: Squaring & Binding
Finish your quilt by squaring it up and learning how to create and attach the binding.

Bring Your Own Materials or Purchase the Beginner Quilting Kit

You do not have to purchase the kit to participate. You’re welcome to bring your own materials.
Want everything gathered and ready for you? Our $140 Beginner Quilting Kit includes the materials needed for the project:

• Main fabric — 1 yard
• Accent fabric — ¾ yard

Bring your machine and learn how to use it with confidence.

This 90-minute hands-on session is personalized to your machine and focuses on the basics you need to get sewing.

Bring your sewing machine, its manual, power cord, and bobbins.

Ready to try machine embroidery but don’t know where to start?

This beginner-friendly 90-minute session introduces you to the basics of machine embroidery, including the essential tools, setup, stabilizer, hooping, and getting your first design stitched.

Bring your embroidery machine and learn the fundamentals in a relaxed, hands-on environment.
